Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is the process of learning how your thoughts can influence your behaviors.  If maladaptive thoughts occur they can influence a negative behavioral response to the thought.  Addressing the maladaptive thought could influence a change in behavior in a more positive or healthy way.

The goal of CBT would be to help shift maladaptive thoughts and behaviors to a more healthy thinking and doing process - CBT is a great approach to anxiety-based disorders as well as depression and other mental health disorders.
